Business Computing BSc
This interdisciplinary degree combines the vastness of Information Technologies, (electronic offices, programming, databases, and the internet) along with the core areas of Business, (management accounting, marketing and management, economics, and law). The graduates will have the understanding and skills necessary to analyze the needs of information and comprehend the business processes in order to design information systems.
You’ll discover how to recognize intuitively, through a combination of knowledge and experience the constantly changing blend of processes needed by information delivery systems to fulfill their roles in an organisation. Additionally, you will learn to recognize that an organization is always evolving and changing and how the information systems of that organization must adjust to these changes and new requirements and demand from users.
In your second year, we’ll help you develop your IT and computing skills through practical workshops and projects. You’ll have the opportunity to learn from our getboardroom.net/best-business-desktop-pc academics and take part in an industrial placement in which you’ll put your new skills into practice.
Our instruction is informed by the most recent technological advancements and focuses on the application of new technologies to business. You can select from a wide range of modules, including Big Data Analytics and Informatics Strategy and Management, as in e-Business Technology. Regular guest speakers from leading firms will enrich the course and demonstrate the importance of the subject you’re studying and the career prospects for our graduates.
